Historical Background
The Old School – St. Anne’s CE Primary school began being built in 1860.
The school building would have be very old today but in 1960 it was decided that the school had to close.
The current school was built in 1971 on the site of a tennis court and bowling green.
There have been a number of extensions since:
Junior block, 1980
Hall, 1991
Staff room, 2002
Early years unit, 2003
Infant block veranda (and alterations to junior block), 2004
Further alterations to Junior block in 2010
New room built 2015
